Help! This is a general call to all. The DM would like it to be known that
he has made a few mistakes!

First off it seems that the DM and InterNet are not meshing as well as one
would hope. To fix this I think I will call a halt to the game till say
Aug. 11. Between then and now I hope with your help to fix some of the
problems.

I have recieved a very large amount of mail. If I don't respond right off
it is because of the ammount of mail I have to go through. In one of these
letters someone asked that we let the rest of you know what types of
computers we have. In my case I have two, one 486sx 25 which is my main
workstation and also where I run my BBS and the other is a 486dx 33 which
is mostly for games.

I would like all to know that I now know that I am internet illiterate. I
can function, barely. And so will be needing some help.

1) My first ? is how does one go about making a mailing list?

2) Next since most people can't open the Binhex stuff do you want me to
send it in text format or uuencoded.

3) On the off chance that I have a genius here does anyone know how to tell
if a site supports WWW, if that was a dumb ? forgive me I happen to be
dumb. If all do how does one go about setting up something like Netscape to
work with a University site?

4) Leaders, to tell you the truth I would like to have one so that I can
cut down my mail. I.E. I can send to him and he or she can then send to
you. So that when I log on I get say 10 pieces of mail not 35. 35 in one
day is enough to make my head spin.

5) I was thinking that we should move this somewhere so that all of you can
see what everyone has to say not just what I think. Any ideas on this would
be great. If I knew how to use WWW from my understanding I could make a
home page, I think. But since I don't know how we could use either
rec.games.pbm or rec.games.frp.dnd the pbm would be better since traffic is
less there.

The last thing I want to say is people please stick to the form. I am going
to add one thing to it and that is you can add your own descriptions of
your actions or views, I.E. what your character looks like. Please try to
keep this short though, say not more than 10 lines. Please denote this with
/\.

God this is going to cause a shit load of mail. Please respond to this on
rec.games.pbm. I am going to send it to all of you and post it there also.
That way everyone can see what I have to say and be able to have at me. As
usual use the subject West Riders so we will all know what to look for.
