Personally I think that there are battle-mongering factions in most of the alliances that have sprung up around Jaca. All those who have dealt with me up to now know that I personally wish no harm to anyone, as I wish to become a pure trade faction as soon as the economy permits! From what I've seen around Jaca, most of the hexes are completely under-exploited as far as mining or quarrying goes, whereas they are over-exploited for tax. Tempers seem to be wearing very thin right now, and it is my opinion that the next 3 or 4 turns will churn out some heavy battling. I have had some dealing in the past with quite a few factions and their allies, and I believe that in this way I have somehow got in touch with most of the factions in the area. I think you can all vouch that I keep my word, and I hereby declare that for the forseeable future I will not be engaging combat with ANYONE. I also wish to state publicly that I can see an oportunity for profit here aswell, those that wish to battle will need weapons and armour, and I'm willing to provide (the murderer is not he who makes the sword) as soon as I can get my production going. I very much doubt I'll be able to offer much before 2-4 turns anyway, but I'd be grateful if anyone who feels threatened or bothered by the presence of any of my units just says so, with no need to "thump first, ask after". All those who'm I have declared friendly will stay that way, and all those whom I have declared allied will be now changing status to friendly so as to avoid any misunderstandings. My default status is neutral, and I'd be glad if any faction with default status unfriendly could re-name me as at least neutral. With this statement I'd also like to make public my renouncement to the Jaca Alliance with whom I wish to stay on friendly terms. I will not however be banning trade with any faction once I get my production running. If any of the above statements causes a problem with anyone, just send me a pigeon and I will deal with it personally.
