Odyssey advice? From: DLUKE@msu.edu (Doug Luke) Date: Sat, 26 Aug 1995 00:00:00 +0000 Does anyone have good advice for a new Odyssey player? I'm trying to figure out how to set up my position, and the flexibility is a little overwhelming. (That's not really a complaint. <g>) I'm looking for hints along three lines: 1) Is it possible to run armies, a location and characters, or do I really need to emphasize one over the others to have any chance at competing? 2) Any things to avoid in my setup (things that if I do I'm screwed for the rest of the game)? 3) And, conversely, any things that I absolutely need to do for sure? I know that some of the fun will be to figure these things out for myself, but since I know a lot of you have already been involved with the playtesting I don't want to be left too far out in the cold. BTW, my own personal preferences right now is to concentrate on characters with a small army and location on the side to keep things interesting. Thanks for any advice! --Doug Luke-- Referenced By Up
