Errors to csd@microplex.com
Now there should be a digest whenever (a) there are 10 emails
or (b) whenever there is an email waiting for more than 48 hours
for a digest to be completed.
So don't get worried if the digest has only 1 or 2 emails, that
just means the list has been slow.

Subject: Turn deadline?

What is the official turn deadline? I sent my orders in Saturday afternoon
again, and they didn't get processed. :( You'd think I'd learn my
lesson and do it earlier, but I try to do my gaming on the weekends,
and since the turn sheets don't go out until MOnday or even Tuesday,
I thought it wasn't being processed until Sunday.... :(

My orders worked *SORT OF*, but some strange things happened, and I got 4
receipts from only 3 pieces of mail! ( I think that problem is local however).
Geoff said he might have a very buggy turn on his hands this time, so might I
suggest people mail him a short message if something strange happened to them,
saying what that something strange is.

Same here.  I used the same template I have always used and used the checker.
However my times article did get acknowledged and I was paid.

According to the new players' instructions, the turn deadline is Monday,
6pm, Pacific Standard Time.  I mailed my orders Monday morning, and they
were processed.  I don't know why your orders weren't processed, Jonathan,
but my first guess would be that they didn't get there.

Subject: magic items

There are other types of magic items that the ones commonly sold, but I
never see them offered.  I just learned to make a Pick of Mining
which gives +10 mining skill.  Is this a worthless item?

I just sorta studied magic at random when I first joined and ended
up in an iron area when i left AC

Then I guess I'll go make a Pick of Mining and try it out, I am near
mountains with iron in them.  No all I need is enough carrying capacity for
my unit to carry off all that iron!

Who knows, maybe someone might want to buy one if it works well!
