I don't know what the post's like in the US, but I run my games (traditional PBM
through the postal system) to 1 week turnarounds whenever I can. It's sometimes a
bit of a rush to get the turns printed and posted on the same day as they arrive,
but it's worth it - not only for the money, as you point out, but players seem to
enjoy the games a lot more when the turnaround is fast, and the games can progress
at a decent rate.
