I don't want to be political on a list that is not intended for that
purpose, and I certainly do not wish to make myself seem to be an ass
in the eyes of people I may very well have to co-operate with in future
MePBM games, so please read no further if you feel you may be offended
by my views on the politics of naming. Regardless, please do not take
my comments here as a reflection of my gaming abilities or lack
thereof.

Um, first of all, not all MePBM players are in the USA (America being an
appropriated term that should be used to denote the entire land mass of
north, central and south america - and furthermore not all MePBM players
live on that land mass either). Secondly, why should the game that is
based in the USA be taken as the default? (a legitimate reason might be
that it predates the UK version - but not 'since we are in America')
One good reason for using (UK) would be that the game that is based in
the UK is ONLY played by people residing in the UK. If any players reside
outside of the UK, then that would be inappropriate.

One way to solve the dilemma, if it really is such a great dilemma, would
be to use the company acronym as an identification, if the companies are
in fact different (please excuse my ignorance of the based-in-UK game).
For example: MePBM (GSI)

And who is this 'we' that lives in 'America' anyway?

Sorry for making a mountain out of a mole hill but I'm a bit out of sorts
this morning after the night of trying to write a thesis proposal.
