I'm sure it increases the amount of damage but it also helps with keeping your hold on your opponent. It looks like once you gotten a strangle on a opponent they have to break free of the hold. If they don't whenever you have an action you AUTOMATICALLY do damage to them, you don't have to hit them again. I think size and build can affect the chance of breaking free. I'm not sure if it's easier for other people to hit someone you're strangling or not (haven't met alot of Tunneling Mauks :-). Later, Todd Referenced By Up
