ATLANTISv2 atl-players-digest #157 From: csd@microplex.com (Christian Daudt) Date: Mon, 23 Oct 1995 00:00:00 +0000 Errors to csd@microplex.com Now there should be a digest whenever (a) there are 10 emails or (b) whenever there is an email waiting for more than 48 hours for a digest to be completed. So don't get worried if the digest has only 1 or 2 emails, that just means the list has been slow. (I hope it works) If you want previous versions, they are available via WWW at http://www.microplex.com/~csd/atlantisv2/ ---------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sat, 21 Oct 1995 10:08:05 -0400 (EDT) From: Dail Rowe <dail@kitthan.gso.uri.edu> Subject: Re: Getting off this f$%^list Hi, to get off this list send email to majordomo@ee.pdx.edu with the following in the body of the message: unsubscribe atl-players The above will unsubscribe the senders email address from the list. I have a guy trained up to level 3 but need level 4/5 teachers to knock up hisstudy! There MUST be someone in AC who can handle this for me! Mail me if you can oblige! Regards Mack ---------------------------------------------------------- From: Dave "Mack" McGaw <u3djm@csc.liv.ac.uk> Subject: Mack Skills Sandwich, with extra Mayo Date: Mon, 23 Oct 1995 13:17:14 +0000 (GMT) Me again folks! Sorry about all the hassles up here in Scouser - Land but the system here has had, how shall we say, teething problems?, since day 1 of the new term. First of all the system crashed on the first day and took 6 hours to reboot. Then on the Wednesday, we had a power failure locking the labs down for the day. The Friday caused the technicians to be swamped with first year on-line requests to be put on the system. Today the application software lost the licensing code and shut everyone off it. And as of last Saturday, the web access to the Liverpool site is shot. To top it off nicely, the upstairs labs are having a floor job, so the whole department is limited to the labs on the ground floor. SO If you're wondering why my pages aren't up yet - Take a Guess why! Sorry for the slander to the list, but I want to put my pages up almost as much as you want to read them, so it's grating on my patience too. THE MINUTE, NO THE SECOND, that my pages go live, the list will hear of the URL to ponder over. For those without web access (of which there are a few) will be given permission to mail me for the ASCII versions of any interesting info they need. I will not release this until the pages go live, so DON'T ASK! In the meantime I still require skill reports on : Longbow 5 Crossbow 5 Riding 3 to 5 (report please) Carpenter 5 Ship Building 5 Sailing 5 Fishing 2 to 5 Healing 4 to 5 Entertaining 5 (to be confirmed by way of report) The list is complete to level 5 in all the rest. Mail me Regards as ever Mack Up
