The first drizzle of rain sizzles as it hits the smoldering, cracked pavement. You look down at your hand...it's not trembling anymore. Your fingers are wrapped tight around the butt of a loaded revolver. You're ready; it's come to this. Around you buildings crumble into urban blight. Crumbling walls spattered with graffiti, bullet pock-marks, and bloodstains. The streets are empty...for now. It's as though life can only exist...and end...in the dark. People furtively crouch indoors...waiting. Night is coming soon. And People fear the night....this night....in... STABTOWN... is a fictitious city set somewhere in the United States. The cityscape is a blasted wasteland of low income housing developments, city housing Projects, trailer parks, and abandoned crumbling warehouses. Urban blight is everywhere. Tracer bullets and helicopter searchlights fill the night sky as rival factions claw the city apart in their constant struggle for power. The Law offers no safety or refuge; the Law is as ruthless and deadly as the criminals they suppress. STABTOWN: is a freeform Play-By-Post game where players create a low-life character in a realistic life simulation in which they deal with everyday (and not-so-everyday) issues in an attempt to survive in a decaying metropolis that destroys it's inhabitants like a cancer. The game is for adults only, and will contain literary depictions of graphic violence as well as sexual themes and liaisons between characters. With this in mind, the Admin requires that all players be over the age of 18. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
