ATLANTISv2 atl-players-digest #164 From: csd@microplex.com (Christian Daudt) Date: Tue, 31 Oct 1995 00:00:00 +0000 Errors to csd@microplex.com Now there should be a digest whenever (a) there are 10 emails or (b) whenever there is an email waiting for more than 48 hours for a digest to be completed. So don't get worried if the digest has only 1 or 2 emails, that just means the list has been slow. (I hope it works) If you want previous versions, they are available via WWW at http://www.microplex.com/~csd/atlantisv2/ ---------------------------------------------------------- From: Dave "Mack" McGaw <u3djm@csc.liv.ac.uk> Subject: Re: Change of Address Date: Mon, 30 Oct 1995 09:47:21 +0000 (GMT) > > The Knights of the Whiterose (698) have changed address. > > They can now be contacted on PHTCDAH@lux.latrobe.edu.au > > > > P.S. can someone publish the address of the list moderator again as I > need to get my list address changed and it would stop a lot of other > people writing "please remove me from this list" mail. > To change address, issue the Address order in your orders list! What a response! When I first introduced the UPS in AC, I expected a FEW replies, but everything has done MORE than EXCEED my expectations. For this reason I am proposing the following system : *General Flight* : Basically, each turn, the exit that is most popular will get the flight out and any units wanting to board are most certainly welcome. This will be conducted as a general consensus each week! I will mention which exits are available and the "votes" (I wanna go!) will betoted up and the highest price (for me) will be the exit. *Chartered Flight* : I have had a SURPRISING amount of interest in this! In fact the first chartered flight is going to yield me a cool $1000 and will be flying soon! Chartered flights take precendence over the General ones, so why not club together with a few pals and book a flight! The cost is only $750 and the team with the most men gets the flight. (The $1000 is because of good relations withthe Chartee!!). Note : A single man, with no more interest in a particular destination, will have to book a Chartered flight. It makes sense to fly in bulk!!! *Confidentiality* : As with all of my ventures, the passenger list and destination will be totally confidential. *Requirements* : As mentioned, with every new exit that opens in AC, I will have a portal there before you can blink, so you will be out there in a turn at almost NO cost. If you have an alternate destination in mind, of which I havea few contacts knocking around, just make sure there is a portal to hand and Ican send you through it! That's it! For more details, or to book a flight, mail me! I you have a unit with two or more leaders in it, how do you separate them into their own units. I've tried the form and give commands but can't seem to get it work. Somewhere along the line, the messages have garbled and so it looks like the home page system will not be in effect for TWO WEEKS! Jon has come up with a solution though! He'll try and run it from his area instead (archived). Keep checking out Jon's page : http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/users/u3jph/page1.html to see if the Atlantis link is working. Apart from this - my hands are tied. Keep an eye on Jon's page and keep your mouse fingers crossed! A colleague of mine who is in Kashmar, Tony Sheldon, asked me to mail the liston his behalf to attract your attention. He tells me that you have several leaders who are probably able to teach. He has units that need teaching! Can you contact him please? His address is : cs0u308d@liverpool.ac.uk Thanks for listening! Regards Mack Up
