Rescue of Midville ... ad&d PBEM campaign with images From: "Ultan" <riccarr@gmail.com> Date: Wed, 14 Mar 2007 15:28:53 +0000 Hello, I just wanted to post an invitation to come and see our ongoing campaign called The Rescue of Midville. It is being posted in a Google Group at ... http://groups.google.com/group/midville Go to the Pages section to see the moves. The Discussion section is open for comments. The interesting thing about this campaign is that our DM has the excellent graphic abilities to put pixel to screen and generate images for each posted move. Each player has their own character stock, and that character is posed in various settings of action as we adventure along. These are rendered images using Poser; not scans of drawings. We, as a group of players, have been PBEM's together for years. This campaign represent a new level achievement in both the use of images as well as first time using a public website for display. The Google Groups are fantastic. A note about the Moves listed in the Pages section. As a PBEM game, we still use email to send our character communications to the DM. He, in turn, takes the latest round of emails and builds a response that represents the next Move. In that move he puts in the results of our actions, adds descriptions, moves the action along, and adds the images. Feel free to have a peek and leave a comment. Its a fairly active PBEM campaign, usually posting a new move every 3-4 days. Cheers, Eric (Ultan) Up
