PBM Playtest

I'm looking for a couple more players for a game idea I've been working
on.  The game is free, turns will be due once every two weeks or so, and
it'll be almost entirely by e-mail.  The game itself is fantasy based;
the combat system is loosely based on Basic D&D.  The game is intended to
be open-ended, but there's very little in the way of economics,
production, or logistics; the final version will have primarily a
role-playing focus.

The Background:  You play one of the great Elemental Lords.  You and your
chosen forces have set out to explore a new island-continent; you have
heard rumors that the Throne of the Elements is hidden within.  It is
said that whoever possesses the Throne uncontested may claim rightful
Rulership of all the land; of course, other Lords are also searching for
the Throne.  And other quests and challenges may await in this new land...

Anyway, as I said, the game is intended to be open-ended; I'm trying to
develop a system which awards creativity as well as sound strategy.  If
