Re: Navy Battles MEPBM(UK) From: Dwalon <73611.1227@CompuServe.COM> Date: Fri, 24 Nov 1995 00:00:00 +0000 Johan, The key to fighting naval battles is always to use as few warships as possible. The combat algorithim that is used favors the smaller force as far as kill ratio goes. The downside is that the losing commander will always perish if in a water hex. So, try a create a plain commander with a few (oh, I don't know, say 10 - 15) warships and a single transport vessel as a lead/prep invasion fleet, with your real invasion fleet coming a turn later. Thus, the weak character and navy smashes the enemy, and the real navy sails safely to its destination. -- Runnin' on empty... Up
