All Air Field personnel are restricted to barracks. The following plane crews are to report to the mess at 0400 hrs for the morning briefing. 10518th Heavy Bomber Squadron: "Howe's Tricks", �Steel Rain�, �Scorchin' Susan�, �Miss Behavin�, "Brown Eyed Bomber", �The Los Angeles Angel� 11518 Heavy Bomber Squadron: �LEAD BUCKET�, �Timmy's Tangerine Dream�, �Miss Jennette�, "Blue Sky", "Aces Up", "Virgin Sturgeon" 0400 hrs: ROOM ATTENTION: (Colonel E. Barone) �Good Morning Gentlemen, I hope everyone had a good night�s sleep. Let�s get to the point; the Primary Target for today is the Rail Yards at Amiens. Gerry has been moving a great deal of supplies through this rail yard, it is your mission to put a stop to this. For today�s mission we will be using the 10518th and 11518th Heavy Bomber Squadron�s a total of 12 Forts each with a payload of 30 M30 100 lb bombs. This will give us a combined payload of 36000 lbs of TNT. Take off time will be at 0600 hrs. Your Navigators have your route out, zero hour, bombing height and route home in their briefing packages. The Los Angeles Angel will fly in the lead and Steel Rain will take the tail position today for the 10518th. Miss Jennette you have the lead and LEAD BUCKET the tail for the 11518th. Major Buck will now brief you on friendly activity and possible flak over the target.� (Major P. Buck) �The friendly Activity for today will be as follows: Out escort zone 2 Good, zone 3 Good. Back escort zone 3 Good and zone 2 Good. Enemy activity should be light with little to no German fighter and no flak over the target.� (Colonel E. Barone) �Thank you Major. Capt.
