It is a decent game. My only gripe is that it is more expensive than the other games I've played. If you are a fan of TSR's Forgotten Realms world, you'll recognize a bunch of locales, races and items. My recommendation is to break up your units on the first turn and explore like crazy. The sooner you know what's around you, the better you'll do. Plus, you can pick up uncommitted communities just by walking through them--not many, of course, but there are some scattered around (I got a town that way on my first turn). Remember, this is my first game, and there may be better strategies out there I haven't glommed onto yet. Keep in touch, and maybe we can share info and strategies. William A. Holt Up
