Adv. Civilization PBeM - Interested?

Hola!

I will try to start an e-mail game of this computer game version from
Avalon Hill.  I want to play with 8 players and please reply to this if
you are interested.

What you need:

* The game Advanced Civilization from Avalon Hill installed on your PC.
* The possibility to send and receive mail by uuencode/uudecode

What I need from the players as set-up:

* A mail (no follow-up) with your country preferences. You may state what
  nation you wish to play (of the 9 available: Iberia, Illyria, Thracia,
  Asia, Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Africa, Crete).  You might not get your
  first choice, so please give alternatives, first, second, third, or
  if you wish, any other easy preferences.

I will use my computer as a host, but I haven't played the e-mail type
myself yet, so I do not know how it works apart from the first turn.  I
hope that it is difficult to cheat and that the players avoid that.
(Cheating=losing)

I still don't think it beats the real thing, neither 1830 nor Advanced
Civilization comes near the real board games, but it works if you got
noone around.  Not too often you got 8 players around a table!
