ATLANTISv2 atl-players-digest #180 From: csd@microplex.com (Christian Daudt) Date: Sat, 02 Dec 1995 00:00:00 +0000 Errors to csd@microplex.com Now there should be a digest whenever (a) there are 10 emails or (b) whenever there is an email waiting for more than 48 hours for a digest to be completed. So don't get worried if the digest has only 1 or 2 emails, that just means the list has been slow. (I hope it works) If you want previous versions, they are available via WWW at http://www.microplex.com/~csd/atlantisv2/ ---------------------------------------------------------- From: "Lewis Haddow" <9235367@arran.sms.ed.ac.uk> Date: Thu, 30 Nov 1995 09:50:38 +0000 Subject: free units in Dezhou Anyone in (3,16), (3,17), (3,21) and (4,21) who wants units for FREE, email me with your hex and unit number and declare 83 friendly. Sigh - I told Legate Zack, time and again - don't charge against fireballs without magic support, but would he ever listen? Why does one have to take care of everything by oneself? Oh well, perhaps this new generation of officers have more sense than that. Why would anyone want to > join an alliance that's scared of us? What would you call this your Times article, if not soliciting for help. After all, you both ask other big alliances to join you, as well as ask mage factions to join you. In what way is that different from what my own Times articles do? Except of course, that you try to portray everyone else as cowards. At least we don't ask for assistance, while pretending not to. And as to your accusation that you think we're scared of you. (Not speaking for the rest of the ROR) Of course, I'm scared of you - only fools are too stupid to fear their opponents. It doesn't mean I think you'll win though. And if someone else's help means that I'll defeat you more easily, of course I'll take that help. > RoR defeats PCP...If we're defeated, why are you still begging for help? You're the only one claiming that we have defeated you. I haven't done so, and neither have any of my allies. Why are you asking for help in this Times article? > The camera never lies, mutants suck....They're mutants, of course they > suck. And they're every bit as lethal as your guys. > Rumors of infighting within the PCP...Sadly, they're true. We know where > you live TGB and we'll be along as soon as we're finished with the RoR. If you finish the RoR. :-) You're still VERY far from having acomplished anything in that direction. > We're coming and you can't hide....Whose hiding?
