This turn, I killed three times as many troops as I lost, > and recruited over three times as many again. I lost two tac5 around Jaca, > and killed over a dozen of yours in Stinchar. Bet that hurt. Yawn. All I know is that all my Tac5's are still intact (no pun intended). > Exactly. Whenever I have made a promise in Atlantis I have kept it. > I have not attacked unless attacked first myself (or ignored). I was wondering when a Pirate would try to defend their moral honor. I guess they needed the Great Adrian to put right spin on it. In any case, what constitue an "attack", I'm sure, has a very loose definition here. > I remember your promise to get off my shores .. it looks like you are going > to keep that one, though not of your own choice. Excuse me, your shores? Because they are part of a continent you reside on? It's like one my friends (another faction screwed by the PCP) says, "I've been to Disneyland, it doesn't mean I own it." Your claim to those shores is empty. The only reasoning, that I can see, that could have supported such a claim would have to be based on stupidity or arrogance -since I know the former is not true, I suspect the latter. > Just remember, Romans, there was not one mutant scum in your lands (not even > a fishing boat) until I saw your armies tromping around my shores. Since I don't agree with your definition of "your shore", I cannot answer this, except to say that the historical reference of our landing on Gifford and your assualt on our homeland was a just a matter of timing. We all know it was just a matter of time. EXCUSE ME?!? I beg to differ! When you arrived in Jaca, I contacted you requesting safe passage out of the area. You replied by attacking my units. I did not attack you (I was a trade/magic faction with 10 whole com1 troops). I did not ignore you. Treachery is certainly a useful tool. Problem is, you practice it enought and it'll rear up and bite you back. - Floyd the Wanderer (R.I.P.) - Order of the Wandering Monk (762) ---------------------------------------------------------- From: Adrian Smith <fon@iinet.net.au> Subject: Atlantis: RoR attacks PCP Date: Sat, 20 Jan 1996 22:40:53 +0800 (WST) > > Citizens of Atlantis, > > Pay attention (imagine trumpets blaring), the Great Adrian Speaks: > It's nice to be called the "Great Someone". It was certainly not inevitable that we would attack your homeland. There were (and are) lots of other places to go, lots of unoccupied land even. I think inviting our reprisal was a bad tactical move on your part. > Jack > ------------------------ > The Chthonian Order (73) > of the Axion Imperium > of the Republic of Rome > ------------------------ Mutant Black Robes (44) of the PCP. ---------------------------------------------------------- From: Adrian Smith <fon@iinet.net.au> Subject: Re: Atlantis: PCP vs. MAD Date: Sat, 20 Jan 1996 23:05:57 +0800 (WST) > > > I have not attacked unless attacked first myself (or ignored). > > EXCUSE ME?!?
