I don't think you'll have any luck though, the reports seem
to have stoped coming. I got my report (fac 414), but my allies
don't seem to have gotten theirs yet.

By my count, the PCP have lost about 700 troops at our hands.  Included
in this number are several TAC 5 leaders(ouch) and the Scum Immortals(not
immortal anymore).

They just got tired of the shabby treatment that you gave at the point
of a sword.  Lesson here is you can't treat your allies like slaves.  What
rotten things you must have done to them to cause such a response?
    All other faction should take note of the huge risk these brave souls
take to live free without the threats of the PCP.

Thanks for this, Ken.

I thought I'd better point out this as well : If you miss out your password,
you'll get the same problem, too!

I'm running a couple of factions over the Xmas break for a couple of buds
hereat Scouserland, and as one of them is back now, I tried to issue the address
command to give him back control.  Unfortunately, after the spate of
report-theft I added a password and forgot to include it!

Hence the same problem.

Hope this helps a few peeps!

Although I believe ALL factions in Atlantis to be honourable (am I wrong?) I
can only see this backstabbing as part of the game.

I'm sure if the PCP had thought of this tactic, they would have employed it
themselves.  (Or am I wrong here again - apologies to the PCP if I am).

As far as I can see, and as far as I've played, I've founf that every faction
I've dealt with to be honourable and trustworthy, both in a trading-style and
also in a general friendly appeal.

Mind you, I have been restarted quite a few times through this much trust!

In any case, this is basically a call to all the FRIENDLY factions of
Atlantisto not be swayed by the tretchery going on around the place, and to simply
maintain your attitude to other factions when you encounter them.

Hi,

Even if someone reveals their password, I would still say
that retreiving their report without their permission is
illegal. A few people did this, and I am likely to be
lenient on them at this point, but I think I would be
quite justified in removing them from the game, or
otherwise punishing them. I'll make some sort of clarifying
statement in the next Times, so that everyone is aware of
the consequences from now on.
