Two thirds of the victims were agnostics, most dwelling north of Carpathia, where the plague was most devastating. Effects were felt from Brandenburg to Kiev. Large earthquake strikes Pomerania - Joss and Tinuviel cooperated to hit Pomerania with a strong quake, killing 42 hobgoblins. Good deities refocus miracles; summoning popular - Halthor and VeesaGolde have both changed the miracles offered to their priests. Halthor's new mix includes: Conjure soldiers three times at grade E and once at grade D, ship blessing at D, rationalize and inspiration vs. ranged attacks at B, and teleport at A. VeesaGolde's includes: Ship blessing at grade E, conjure soldiers at grades D and C, and normalcy at grade A. Tinuviel takes Brandenburg - The almost completely depopulated province of Brandenburg changed hands yet again, as the war between Good and Neutrality continued. Tinuviel sent an army from Brunswick, which captured the territory without a battle. Elven Queen gains naval superiority in Baltic - Tinuviel's fleet, accompanied by dragons, claimed the southern Baltic (sea G) for its own, sinking Halthor's lone warship and capturing two cargo vessels. Tinuviel invades Sweden, capturing Skane - Having defeated the Hel Riders at sea, Tinuviel's fleet did not follow up with an invasion of Halthor's territory. Instead they landed in the agnostic province of Skane, forcing its surrender. Joss defends Venice, fails to take Tyrolia - A combined army of Shoppers and Hel Riders ambushed Joss' army in the mountains of Tyrolia, and chased the survivors back to Venice. However, Joss' expedition was successful in keeping the Tyrolian army at home. VeesaGolde's forces from Rome invaded Venice, expecting help from Tyrolia that did not arrive; catapults flattened the invaders. Wallachia remains in Halthor's hands - Another expedition of the Fortunate charged into Wallachia from Transylvania, and again they were forced back. Halthor's troops were augmented by many summoned units and the power of a priest-A, who greatly aided the defense. Up
