Stars of the Dark Well

General Information

SDW is a PBM (Play by Mail) Game. At this moment there are approx. up to
100
people all over the world playing this game. Somewhere in the future
mankind
has colonized over one hundred planets united in the First Dominium. But
tensions rised and ended up in the total annihilation of all settlements
across the known universe. Only a few settlers survived but had to face
a
fallback into already forgotten primitive ages. At the same time first
signs
were found proving that human beings aren't alone any longer in this
galaxy.
Strange new races appeared with names even stranger than their
appearance
(Dendritti, Urr, Rykel, BNorg, ...etc )

Getting Started...

You get started as a Captain of a ship weighting approx. 15.000 tons
containing about 300 Crews. You can start as whatever you want ! Even if
you'd like to start as a VorrHan (Cannibals) ! It's possible ! When
moving
through the known systems you'll find a lot of other Captains flying
their
ships on orders of some great Alliances (FI, NX, UC,...) or being
independent (NA). You' ll watch big battles scanning battle ships
weighting
30 Mega Tons or even more getting destroyed in a few seconds by millions
of
riders or beam pods ! So if you're not fearing the challenge and the
battle

How to start playing...

The following steps are neccessary :

* Send a cash order of 20 US$ to :

* Mail or fax a letter asking for a players account and for a startup
     package
          fax no.: +1 (916) 483 1865

* Wait for the arrival of the package. Fill out the startup sheet and
     select your startup position :
        o UN/C Hannibals Kastell (my prime base near the center of the
          universe)
        o NX/C Alexandria (somewhere quite far out in the west)
