[PBEM News] Lordships of Aldarius From: datrolian@hotmail-dot-com.no-spam.invalid (Xaxoo) Date: Fri, 30 Mar 2007 02:53:32 +0000 Come visit the Lordships of Aldarius forum at... http://d20universe.com/Terralith_Web/forum/doForumTopicListing.do?dialogAction=populate&forumid=9267 We are seeking players. This will be a very classic style D&D campaign run by a old school veteran. As a GM (DM) I feel it is my job to see how much fun I can make the game for everyone playing. I like to challenge my players but not defeat them. Aldarius is an original world with some borrowed components. You may recognize some of the material, though I doubt it. For the most part it is an egg ready to hatch. The genre is Tolkeinesque. All the standard D&D races are found, both good and evil. Orcs are a little different in Aldarius then in some worlds as they are not always evil. Though they can not be chosen as a PC race, they will play an important role in the campaign in terms of a faction as well as NPCs. Humans are the new comers to Aldarius, the details of which are shrowded in mystery. Within 500 years time they have established themselves as one of the most powerful nations in Aldarius. Much of the campaign will take place within the human realm known as the Southern Plains or sometimes just The Plains. The Plains are divided into 10 lordships, each a sovereign state headed by an absolute monarch known as the Lord or Lady of the territory or lordship. Because the campaign is centered around the Southern Plains it makes sense that many of the PCs would be human. This however is not mandatory. Any race can be chosen, but humans would fit most easily into the story. If after looking at the material on the forum you would like to play, join the forum and submit a character concept. Or send me a concept at Thexaxoo@hotmail.com. I look forwad to a fun and lasting campaign.
