This is an ad. The right way to advertise your games on Usenet is to
send me entries for each game for the PBM List. Then they'll be
available for everyone to see. You haven't sent me PBM List entries
despite several requests on my part, so I really can't do much more to
help you if you won't help yourself, but instead complain.

I've seen ads for playtests. It was a dozen years ago, but they existed.
The main reason your latest post annoyed me was that it was a
Compuserve-style ad: a player asks for info about football games, and
2 companies each post back to advertise their wares. Well, if all
companies responded to all ads, this newsgroup would be mostly replies
of that sort. It's much better to instead send the poster the chunk of
the PBM List about football games, so they can see all the games at once.
