Quantum Warriors is a multi-genre role-playing game � light on horror,
heavy on Sci Fi and Fantasy.  For those familiar with old games like
Gamma World or Rifts � or for those familiar with TV shows like Ark
II and Thundar the Barbarian � or movies like Sound of Thunder and
the numerous post holocaust movies - this game will have a familiar
feel.  The PC�s will be from the years 2110 to 2118 depending on when
they were snatched.  Over a period of several years people vanished
all over the globe.  All were of sound mind.  A few may have suffered
injuries, but those will be fully healed upon awakening.  There were
no signs of foul play, no bodies left behind.  There were no
witnesses.  They simply vanished.  The disappearances hardly even
made the news.

Call them Quantum Warriors.  While most are not warriors in any
military sense, these people had an inborn ability to resist the
quantum storm that soon began to sweep across the planet.  This
resistance was enhanced as they were placed in suspended animation to
awaken when the time was right.  At least, that is the way it was
supposed to work.

Long gone are friends and family.  Careers?  Jobs?  Criminal records?
Debts?  All have been wiped away by time.  Noone would even remember
who you were.  There is only one thing that will mark you as
different in the strange new world.  You are Human.  That is not to
say there are no other humans on Earth.  But the nations of old have
long collapsed into a barbaric state.  Most humans are savages,
barbarians.  Those who have retained any of their old identity as the
technologically superior race are dwindling in number.

Quantum Warriors have been enhanced in a number of ways to help them
survive in the new world.  Enclaves are packed with technological
goodies, most of which is biometrically secured.  The players will
awaken to a brutal world ruled by mutants, �demons�, dragons,
slavery, warlords, etc.  None of these races, nor humans who have
undergone mutation, will be able to used most of these items.

Players should have a heroic background, ages 18-28.  Sorry, no 20 and
30 year veterans of half a dozen wars.  (Quantum resistance fades with
age.  So does ones ability to survive mutations.)  List physical
appearances, demeanors, careers, hobbies, and weaknesses.  (Don�t
bother listing limps, blindness, genetic defects, implants, or any
form of prosthesis.  Physical defects like those are repaired.  You
can list the financial background.  But everyone starts out the
same.)  A general background will also help.

NOTE:  This game is rated M for Mature.  While not for porn, there
will be few restrictions on language.  There will be Gorean slavery
prevalent on the planet, nudity and graphic violence.  If you�ve
watched a lot of post holocaust sci fi movies, then you know what to
expect.  Add to that a fantasy element.  This game will expect
posting levels of 4-5 posts per week of strong writing standards.
