Well, I plan on it being entirely email orientated with a standard
form to fill in for turns which I will parse into the game. The
results would be output to a text file, which will then have the
individual teamsheets etc added for each manager. I hadnt decided yet
wether to just give a results section or come up with a game describer
module. Do people prefer game descriptions or do they feel the results
and scorers are enough.

The email that managers get back will also have a transfer section, a
manager can indicate to me that a player is to be put on the list. All
the usual press sections will be included. The press part of the email
was where I was planning to put the sensation type stories e.g. Jason
Lee plays well SHOCK, SENSATION :) (Yes I am a Forest fan and have to
have a good sense of humour when he plays for you!)

With the newsletter etc being in email format there is no real limit
to the size of it, anyone can contribute stuff to put in.

I have tried thinking of a new way to do a football game, but Im
afraid my skills are in programming and playing rather than designing.
I already have a nice random access file going for the player
database, which hopefully will allow unlimited numbers of players etc.
My main aim is to base the game on the United-style rules I have and
try and add as much as I can whilst still keeping it fun to play. Fun
will be the important part, as I will be running in for nowt I hope
that I can make it a bit different to what punters pay for, thats why
I was thinking of random events etc

Anyways, thats just my 2pence worth, what do you think mateys?
