The game rules, as a Windows help file, are available for download from the anonymous ftp server listed below. Game 9 is currently accepting new players. The game is currently processed every 7 days, but will shift to 2 turns per week as from June 4th. Playtesters for this playtest are now being sought, players will need access to a PC with Windows 3.1, 3.11 or Windows95 and about 4 megabytes of free hard disk space. Players also need access to ftp to be able to download the Windows installation program (2.2 megabytes). This program allows the player to view the turn results and maps and submit the next turn. Players need an email package to email the turn results back to GSF. If after having read the rules you wish to participate in the free playtest send an email to gsf@ftech.net with JOIN PLAYTEST in the subject line.
