Players Wanted - GURPS Space PBeM

Hi!
        I've been running a GURPS Space PBeM role-playing game, called
"The Long View". Due to departing players, I am presently recruiting
players. The campaign based on the premise of a weak human race in a
galaxy full of older, more powerful species; the players will play
human characters, and will as a group seek to advance the situation of
the human race. The game will run at least for two months, up to a
maximum of six months. Game sessions will be held every second day.
 I am looking for eight to twelve experienced role-players, all of whom
must be capable of reading their e-mail daily. The group is also considering
adding an IRC Chat session to help with combat, although this part is still in
the planning stage.

Prospective players will draw up characters in consultation with
me; these characters will be drawn up using the GURPS system and GURPS
Space, with a hundred-point limit. If you do not have GURPS or GURPS
Space, I will help you with your character creation. Experience with the
 GURPS system is not a pre-requisite, but role-playing experience is.

Experience points will be accumulated during the campaign , and
characters will grow in name-recognition in the game universe.
If characters are killed, the players will keep the experience points
 of their previous character to create their new character. The ideal
designs of characters for this campaign are diplomats, military
officers, military technicians, soldiers, explorers and traders.

Emphasis will be placed upon the role-playing aspects of the
game, rather than upon more conventional hack-and-slash headcounting. If
you love plot complexity, this game's for you. Encounters with aliens will
be both diplomatic and military; and choices made during the earlier
portions of the campaign will have efects on the circumstances the
characters (and the humans of the game universe) will face later in the
campaign. I will download a copy of the galaxy description to you before
you make up your characters.
