WOULD U BE WILLING TO... From: l41186@alfa.ist.utl.pt (Rogerio Fung < Rapa >) Date: Fri, 14 Jun 1996 00:00:00 +0000 I was just wondering..imagine a space opera game type, where one person has control over two ships, and the game is designed only for 1 ship to be controlled(BTW, this would be a commercial PBM).So, this guy earned enough to buy another ship.. now, how to put to use this extra ship? Would any of you be interested to control it(with all the full 'commands' , just like if you were in the game) for the player in question, and, in resume, become his employee? So, if he told you, go to that planet, and trade, you would have full cntrol of the ship, but you would have to 'obey' him(no option to try and get free)? And, in commercial terms, the advantage is that you would only pay , let's say, one third of the normal turn cost, and also, you woul earn a wage(from the owner of the player, as a ship captain) which, in case you would join the game with a real position, would be added to your initial 'starting money'? Just wondering, since in PBM and games in general, no one really likes tobe a lackey for some other player, so, how do we 'implement this?
