In battle, when a ship fires a weapon, it automatically hits an enemy ship, whether or not you destroy it is based off our wonderful percent chance kill formula. Why not add a small twist in there. Instead of automatically hitting an enemy ship, you have another random roll of hitting the ship. So you can actually miss with that weapon 500 and weapon tech 10 so you dont kill anything.
