'Freeflow games' From: Malcolm.Hulme@btinternet.com (Malcolm Hulme) Date: Wed, 03 Jul 1996 00:00:00 +0000 It's been about 5 or 6 years since I last played a pbm. I was in at the start of 'It's a Crime!' and 'Troll's Bottom', I played in 'The Weapon', 'Global Supremacy', 'Crasimoff's World' and was leader of the Boda Clan in 'Midgard' until it folded. I also wrote several reviews on these games for Flagship Magazine. But there's one game that I really enjoyed, although I am ashamed to admit that I can't remember what it was called. It was a SF game of planetary exploration and combat and it was what I call 'freeflow'. That is - it had no rules. Each turn I wrote a couple of pages of text describing the actions of my team, their conversations, thoughts etc. It was a story, and it read like the pages of a SF novel. In return I received a similar output from the gamesmaster describing the results, replies and reactions. It was glorious! A real treat. But the game folded after a few turns. I searched for a similar game but couldn't find one. After such a long break I'd like to start pbm again, and this is the sort of game that I'd like to take part in. If anyone knows of a 'freeflow' game that I could join I would really appreciate an e-mail with the details. Malcolm.Hulme@btinternet.com Referenced By Up
