I am working on the graphic section and interface right now, so any suggestions would not interfere with existing code. What I have in mind right now is basic planet types, ie. habitable, barren, etc. that would contain a ramdom amount of resources. These resources would be mined then sent to factories to produce goods. The player would (in theory) colonize a planet, build some mines and factories, and then produce other needed goods (like bio-domes, starship parts, etc.) I have no idea how an economy should work, and I probably haven't given enough information to be useful, but any suggestions would be be appreciated.
