UPDATE: Web-Grognards, 21/7/96 From: Alan Poulter <alan@poulter.demon.co.uk> Date: Sun, 21 Jul 1996 00:00:00 +0000 Hi, Lots of things to mention:- I have put a 'Non-Grognard Challenge' section on the Web-Grognards home page, to lead newcomers to the new Battle for Moscow Page. The idea is that this page form an introduction to wargaming. If you maintain a web page related to wargaming please consider adding this link to the Battle for Moscow Page:- http://www.clever.net/grognard/bfm/ I have taken out the Javascript scrolling 'welcome message' which you used to see in Netscape 2.0 or higher as it was causing problems for other browsers. Recently I was offered an ADC gameset for Pacific War (VG). TAHGC is against having ADC gamesets of AH games 'publicly traded', according to a rep from HPS, so I asked TAHGC whether VG were included in this ban. Their reply was 'Yes' so no Pacific War ADC gameset on Web-Grognards :-( Finally, this will be the last Update for a few weeks: my holiday is coming up and I will be on the beach, British weather permitting :-). Eric is going to be away as well. The Challenge: Chester Hendrix was the first of only a handful to guess Gazala by People's Wargames. This is Chester's second win. A new Challenge awaits!
