Description:

The USS Wellington is an independent Play By e-Mail sim taking place in
the year 2385, roughly seven years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis.
The Wellington is a Sovereign-class starship assigned to a deep space
starbase that is located within Klingon empire and is under joint control
of the two empires. She is assigned to explore the Beta Quadrant.

The intent of the Wellington is to go back to the roots of Star Trek. That
means exploration and diplomacy over battles. Not to say we won't have are
share of action, but it won't be as dominate. The idea is that since we
are exploring the unknown we can get the same feel to the stories that TOS
and TNG had. While we try to stay close to Cannon, we believe that story
telling is more important that worrying if everything is perfectly cannon.
This means we will meet new species, friends and foes, discover new
technologies, and boldly go in the finest traditions of Starfleet.

We welcome simmers of any experience from beginners to hardened veterans,
and our primary goal is to have fun while creating exciting and dramatic
stories. We give ourselves a rating of PG-13.
