I'm not picking on either of these two web sites: They are top notch.
However, as they are probably the best two web sites I've seen, I'll use
the information they provided to illustrate my point.  Go to CZbach's
homepage to the White Wizard page
(http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/6615/295024ww.htm)  This
information looks very similar to the info found at Lucinda's home page
(http://www.io.com/~lucinda/mepbm/WhiteWizard.html).  However neither
page lists artifacts 17, 30, and 162 as starting with Saruman.  I know
they do because I'm playing WW this game.   (17 is the Ring of
Angrenost: +500 combat artifact. 30 is the Palantir of Orthanc: SCRYING
- scout area on any hex. 162 is Glosovagil: +1500 combat artifact.)

Similar sets of errors/ommisions/missing data occur throughout.  Compare
the Artifact list versus the start ups for the nations.  They don't
match up.  Some items are listed as starting with a race, but then don't
appear on that races start up, or in other places, the number in the
startup is used already by another nation.  Finally, some artifacts that
are listed on startups have unknown powers.

Again, let me stress that I am not picking on the sites as they are
top-notch and I have accessed them both many times.  These people
deserve an award from GSI or the players.  However, what this does
suggest is that not all of the information is accurate, probably to
begin with.  Now none of this is a big deal. I mean half the fun is NOT
knowing everything.  Yet, the information is available and confirmable,
if people want to swap pages.  I'd be happy to send (by s-mail) my 2950
start up for White Wizard to anyone who'll send me a start up I don't
have.

Finally, if anybody'd want my eternal gratitude, they'd completely index
the Mouth of Sauron, the Rulebook, the Map and combine it all into an
FAQ (come on, how hard can that be <JUST KIDDING>).
