Third Foundation From: jame5114@novell.uidaho.edu (Brett Jameson) Date: Sun, 06 Oct 1996 00:00:00 +0000 I have never played stars or vga planets but judging from the responses I get the feeling that they aren't terribly large scale, as to what a person is able to do. I may be wrong but I get the feeling that while these two are stellar conquest games they don't involve terribly many ships, planets, etc. Third Foundation is a very large scale game....let me give you an example. A typical player in a game of third foundation after about 10 turns has around 200 ships, owns around 60 worlds, and is writing about 300 seperate orders. I am having trouble wording this message to do the game justice, and you will have to read the rules to fully apreciate the magnitude of it (All 90 pages of them). Third Foundation took 2 years to program and is made up of millions of lines of code, and the outcome of all that programming is a huge, interesting, and unique game, please give it a chance, download the rules and find out what it is about.
