Description:

Station Beta Two was originally built by the Yridians as an
observatory to the Uliptite Nebula in the Beta Quadrant, just outside
of Federation territory and only ten light years from the Neutral
Zone. It soon grew into a vast science research facility, jointly used
by the Federation and the Yridians in an ally movement. Ten years ago
after a unique catastrophe, the station was utterly destroyed and
rendered useless. The Yridian Government had enough troubles with the
station and gave all rights to the station to the Federation. They
refitted the station and made many modifications. Today Station Beta
Two is one of the most popular space stations in the Beta Quadrant. It
is used as a continued research facility, observatory, residential
complex, and place of respite and refueling to many travellers.
