Glorantha PBMers Club From: Dave Black <dave_black@chshq.dfo.ca> Date: Mon, 09 Dec 1996 00:00:00 +0000 This newly formed club is dedicated to roleplaying by email (and possibly by snail mail if sufficient demand exists) in Runequest's game world of Glorantha. We are currently seeking new members to join us. If you have no problem with the following and would like to participate feel free to give me a shout at: dave_black@chshq.dfo.ca The guidelines for membership are as follows: #1 Every decision of the 'club' be made by the submission of a proposal to all of the members and a vote with 50 + 1% determining the yes or no to the proposal. #2 One person should act as coordinator for the club and be responsible for keeping a list of members, a current list of campaigns underway, a record of all proposals made, the results of all votes on proposals, and other such administrative details as the group might require. #3 The coordinator should be elected by the members and agree to perform the duties for a set period of time. #4 The coordinator may opt to not run a campaign in any given year and still remain a member of the club in good standing. In such a case the work of 'coordinating' is to be considered equivalent to the effort normally expended in running a campaign. Otherwise all members should run a campaign at least once during the course of a year. #5: Campaigns should be run using officially published Runequest and Glorantha materials or officially sanctioned areas added to the Glorantha game-world by the club. #6 Gamemasters should set out at the start of the campaign how they intend to run their adventures. This should include method of communication (email, postal, telephone etc), frequency of play (ongoing, twice weekly, weekly, monthly - for example), maximum number of players, and any other such information that would help players decide whether they would be able (or want) to participate in that particular campaign. #7 For any given area of Glorantha there can be only 1 Gamemaster. Two Gamemasters cannot run campaigns in Pavis for example. Areas of jurisdiction are to be negotiated between the Gamemasters and the Coordinator (if necessary to render a final decision in times of unresolved issues). end Up
