The Agents of this "Agency X" struggle for to understand and control the truth in a world of conspiracy, alien cover-ups, super-natural forces, and mysterious, unexplained occult happenings. Contact Information : Game Master Contact (GM) : rxsherm@h2net.net Game System: D6, with a few select modifications. Player Experience: Beginner to Experienced with any type role-playing game. Should be familiar with basic rules of role-playing. Time Frames: Turns twice a week. If no turn is submitted, the GM will write for the player as needed. Turn Style/Format: Third person narrative-based story. Speech should be in quotes, set off on their own paragraph. Thoughts should be in brackets, and if-thens, i.e. character's intentions for unknown outcomes in curly braces. Out of character statements are encouraged, but are to be last and prefaced with "OOC:" PC Autonomy: Players are responsible for their actions. The GM will write for the player if no turn is submitted. Players who miss multiple turns will be written out of the assignment. Combat: Even though agents will have combat abilities, this is not a game of combat. The nature of the game will be in the fantastic, yet grounded in realism. Gunplay can get you maimed, or more likely, killed. Use of unnecessary force is heavily scrutinized. Cost: NONE Campaign Tone : World: Modern Realism: The game is reality based, with its foot anchored in the fantastic. The PCs are agents, and their jobs can be quite perilous...stupid actions can get you or someone else killed. Outlook: The PCs can succeed, but then again success is relative and not often clear cut (in a Conspiracy laden world....) Characters: Agents assigned to the "Agency X" Program. PC Group Structure: Agents work together as a team, but they are often required to split up and follow leads/clues, etc. separately, usually partnered, i.e. PCs will rarely be alone. PC Importance: PCs may get involved in cases that get National Attention. Often, due to the nature of their cases, the agents actions (failure or success) will impact the world greatly.
