It has been in continuous operation since 1979. New players start the game with a single Star System and several ships ranging from Battleships to Scouts and Transports organized into several Star Fleets. With no turn deadlines you may play at your own pace (Most players average one turn every two weeks). Your defenses are always working, so your Empire will be protected if you should need a few extra days to complete a turn. ALL turns are processed within one business day of being received. Trade and economic development will prove the foundation of your Empire, and your conquests across the galaxy, but diplomacy with your fellow Empires could prove the difference between life and death.
