Mining Production on the planet toppled from 5.48 to 3.51. The death toll rose to 187,293 over the two days of rescue operations, said Erik. Many died in the immediate shock of the quake, but others died in the toxic fumes caused by collapsed sulfur pillars sending massive amounts of sulfur dust into the air. Only Brogians, Mechbots and Piils were able to withstand the poisonous emissions, as they are resistant to hostile environments. Such species played a vital role in rescue operations. Ship Maintenance Costs Drop Substantially - The cost of running a space vessel has leveled out recently, with maintenance costs dropping by an average of 35% to 45% on standard, end-run self-service repairs. Also, further discounts, of up to 10% can be found on planets with high Technology production levels. A level of 5 or greater is where traders and pilots will begin to see the discounts, with level 9 giving 10% cheaper repairs. You must, of course, be docked at an appropriate planet to be able to use the local high-tech facilities. "The decrease in cost is attributed to the recent influx of large transport ships delivering parts where they're needed.", said Glaxon Triif, a Piil warehouse stocker on Fromida Froo.
