[pbem players wanted] BIRTHRIGHT (ad&d) From: trustno1@Atcon.com Date: Wed, 26 Mar 1997 00:00:00 +0000 I am interested in running a pbem version of tsr's birthright, and am looking for 3 to 5 interested players. You must own a copy of the game, I am unable to supply rules (copyright, and all). The game would be set, not in Cerilia, but in a world of my own design. The players would all start on a small island, and compete with each other for power. Although Birthright is intended as a supplement to traditional D&D activites, this game will not. The concentration would be on ruling of your domains/realms, etc. Also, due to the highly interactive nature of the game, I have a choice of two mthods of handling this : 1) compressing the turn - and make players submit all their actions at once. 2) expand the turn - and make each action a seperate post - a much slower prospect, but for interactive amongst the players. If you have a preference to either of these, please tell me; I'm torn as to which method to go. I expect a message traffic load of a one a day, maybe 2 or 3 especially during campaigns. Battles will not be played out, but resolved abstractly. The game will be blind, in that players will not be able to communicate to each other, except via the gm. If you are interested in playing, or have some experience in running birthright pbem, i'd like to hear from you. Thank-you: trustno1@Atcon.com Referenced By Up
