NEW DAILY VGA PLANETS GAME FORMING From: insights@pc-avenue.com (Steven Leonard) Date: Mon, 28 Apr 1997 00:00:00 +0000 VGA Planets players! A large scale VGA Planets game is forming by several Planets enthusiasts looking for other dedicated players. This game will be played out over a large scale of time with the objective being total domination of the Echo Cluster by a single player or an announced alliance. Since this game is expected to last such a long time we are searching for players who could be dedicated to this game enough to make their turn every day as well as players who are familiar with the game rules and interface. Result files will be distributed via email at 9:30 pm each night. After being distributed, the player must submit his turn file back by 9:00 pm the following evening. The next result file will be sent immediately following at 9:30 pm. The end of the game is achieved if it is decided that a player who has declared that he does dominate the game receives a general agreement by the other players. Players will be removed from the game by an 80% vote if it is decided that the player in question is in such a shape that he or she can no longer compete in the game. Email attachments will be the method of transportation for this game. Players need copies of pkunzip on their computer for uncompressing RST files. TRN files need no compression because of their size. Email will shuffle through the dedicated emailbox of insights@pc-avenue.com. The insights@pc-avenue.com game will be using host version 3.22.014, so we request all players have client 3.x. A registered copy with registered features is highly suggested for this game. To sign up, please mail your first four race choices along with your race name which you would like to select to insights@pc-avenue.com. A reply will be sent to you within 24 hours notifing you of the status of the game being compiled. Setup of the game is as followed. Host 3.22.014 Method: Email attachment.
