You control the fortunes and future of a nomadic tribe of people. You control every aspect of your tribe; You may herd your animals; turn their skins into leather and the leather into armour. Or you may mine the hills and mountains for minerals refine the minerals; into metals and then turn the metals into tools, armour, weapons or a host of other products. But most importantly you must feed your tribe, hunting, fishing, culling your herds and farming can all produce all your people need, how you go about it is your choice. Tribe Vibes is a game of unlimited opportunities Skills Your tribe starts with a number of skills which you can call upon; from hunting and herding to archery and horsemanship. You can choose to increase your skills, or learn new ones. The higher your skill the level the more able you are to meet the challenges that your tribe must face. Research Once you tribe reach�s skill level 10 you are able to research a new idea, you can choose from a range of existing research topics or create your own, Tribe Vibes is not limited by set peramitters, but can expand in new and unconventional directions limited only by your imagination. You may think the longbow as the ultimate weapon for the bronze age, then research the longbow, or something else just as wild. Combat There are of course those people who find peace boring and trade tame and you might be one of them. Combat is always at the back of your mind. There are a range of skills that you can develop, weapons and armour to be made and your warriors will need to keep constant vigilance. You may want to develop your scouting skills to find your enemies before they find you. There is a range of ways you can fight, mount you troops, leave them on foot, arm them with bows, slings or swords that is if you have developed the skills and resources to produce them. Exploration Tribe Vibes is set in a Imaginary World ripe for exploration. There are many exciting places to find and other clans to find. there are over 50 other players in the open ended game for you to encounter fight make peace with. Villages You can wander the world exploring the lands and seas, or you can settle down and build a Village. Each village can have any range of buildings, a mill to grind your grain into flour, a bakery to turn the flour into bread, a refinery to turn the minerals you have found into metals. Of course you will have to defend your village against the hostile players, so walls, towers and moats may also be constructed. The village is a good way to keep your people happy and concentrate their energies on something constructive. Diplomacy With the large number of players and tribes in the world you may have to allie or trade with the other people you meet If you don�t fight them. alliances can be made and wars declared Diplomacy can be conducted through the game or through any other means you wish. The cost starts at $4.00 for a turn which happens every fortnight. To start send e-mail for the starters rules and a tribe. The time demands are not particularly great - about 1-2 hours per turn. The first two turns plus the Rules are free - so you can evaluate the game at no cost. After the first two turns, the administrative cost of the game is $4.00 Australian - about US$3.00 per fortnight which is the turn around time (this is about 0.75 Australian hamburgers per week - so Tribe Net helps you lose weight).
