[PBEM News] Adult Collaborative Writing From: trinitynoble@yahoo-dot-com.no-spam.invalid (trinity) Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2007 02:49:56 +0000 As the subject suggested I'm looking for a collaborative writing effort, with mature themes and content. That does not necessarily mean hardcore descriptions in nauseating detail, but should suggest that I'm looking to write with adults. Not juveniles masquarading as such, nor grown men who act like 14 year olds with their brains in their pants. Now, that tirade complete, what I am interested in is not genre nor setting specific. A couple possibilities, I'm looking at are: Something with a futuristic or near future setting with high tech and/or something alien involved. I don't like "polished" high tech settings, though I'm not interested in established stories like Star Wars or Star Trek, I do prefer the more "crude" feel of the technology of Star Wars over Trek. The other genre I'm very much interested in would be "Steampunk". Which by my definition would be Jules Vernesian/Victorian-esque with elements of fantasy. Basically iron, steam, "crude" electricity, and weird science married with perhaps elements of the mystical. Maybe fantasy races in some small number. I'll see. While I do my writing in the third person past tense, I do take something of a movie making approach to my collaborative writing. Sometimes even casting various characters with actors past and present. If there's anything there that might interest you, feel free to drop me a note. Thanks. trinity ( trinitynoble@yahoo.com ) -- posted from PBEM News - PBEM listings and announcements Reply to this post at http://www.pbemnews.org Up
