NAISU Seeks Assistant Commissioner From: godot22@earthlink.net (PJ Killian) Date: Mon, 19 May 1997 00:00:00 +0000 (A slightly revised version of a call posted on www.pbem.com) This is a call for someone who's always wanted to run their own sports PBeM, but didn't want to go to the trouble of doing as much work as this requires. Now you can be the Assistant Commissioner of a small (12 teams) but growing, human moderated sports PBeM game. Note that this is an unpaid volunteer position. It will be serious (but not particularly time-consuming) work. It will probably take about 20-40 minutes two times a week to do this job, a bit more if the league expands further. You will also have a hand in the (constant) re-writing and refining of the rules. Potential applicants should be: -At least 18 years old or VERY mature for their age; -Able to express themselves in clear written English; -Fun people I can work with as equal partners. You must have a stable e-mail address that you check at least once every 2 days. You must be around for the summer and perhaps beyond. If running a unique e-mail sports league sounds like fun but you don't have the time or the energy to go it alone, perhaps we can make a great game together. (And have a great time, too) This is also a good opportunity for those with no experience to learn the ropes.
