Blind Galaxy Macintosh Client From: "Andrew & Cathy Salamon" <salamon@worldnet.att.net> Date: Sun, 15 Jun 1997 00:00:00 +0000 How much interest would there be in a Macintosh Blind Galaxy Client? I need to work out a few more bugs and I could send it out to a few beta testers. Before everyone replies, let me present a few caveats: One, it is currently PowerMac native ONLY, it won't run on 68K machines. If there is a LOT of interest I might try recompiling it for 68K machines... Two, currently it is little more than a turn viewer, no battle sim, you can't modify any info (like adding info gained from another player), and no order genaration. I do want to add these and many more features but my time for this project is limited. I've only used it in one Blind Galaxy game, Scythe (I can't remember which version the engine was, but I'll find out), with only one set of Options. I don't guarantee it will work with any other settings, although fixing any such problems would be my highest priority. There are two pieces of info it doesn't currently read in: Incoming ships and Routes. If you are still interested please let me know: Andrew M. Salamon salamon@worldnet.att.net Up
