Yep.  I agree with "Don Halcon" despite the fact that I have only
played in 1 free PBeM.  They are run by enthusiasts, no doubt there,
who somehow have to squeeze in a normal life somewhere.  Which means
turnaround can be erratic, as well as the quality of the turn that
varies wildly.  I congratulate those who make an effort to GM a PBeM
for nothing, I know I could never spare the time to do it.  But for
mine, the service I get from my regular GM's, who know who they are,
is worth the small financial outlay involved.

That doesn't mean I'm going to shell out a fortune for good service of
a lousy game though......
