'They've simply got to learn that its safer to land on FLAT surfaces' he said, 'people who try to land on craters, rills, mountains and active volcanoes (yes someone actually tried this!) do so at their own risk.' Chinese officials have announced that they have their first customer at Xichang Space Centre. I hope that the following explanation can clarify matters. Spaceships may move directly from any extraterrestial location within a solar system to any other. Spaceships may only land on a planet if they are in the parking orbit of that planet. Conversely spaceships on planets may only move to the parking orbit. Hence a move from Kennedy Space Center to a location on Mercury could be specified thus: move Earth.parking move Mercury.parking move Mercury.s01.01.01 Spaceships bound for other starsystems must first move to the entrance of a stargate, then they must move to the other end of the stargate before they move to a location in the distant starsystem. Hence a move from Kennedy Space Center to Odin.parking could be specified thus: move Earth.Parking move SG_Two move SG_Twelve move Odin.parking I have realised that the COLLECT order as it is written isn't very satisfactory for picking up items from your warehouses so I have modified it as detailed below. ----------------------------------------------------------- COLLECT (item or resource) time variable Collect 1 ton of the given resource type or 1 item from a stockpile in your warehouse or at one of your facilities. Resources can only be gathered at suitable source, some resources require that certain facilities are available such as a mine or well. The time taken to gather a resource is dependent on its abundance at the collection site. Note resources are not inexhaustible, mines and wells will eventually deplete.
