By virtue of a vast majority, the readers of this group already HAVE
expressed their support of reasonable, subject-relevant, and informative
ads.  So get it over with already and call for a vote.  As in all aspects
of life, those who don't vote don't have a leg to stand on when they
gripe.

As for personally posting for every game...swell of you to offer, but this
sounds more like a threat than a bona fide offer to be of service.  Where
is the logic in the argument, "If you agree to post ads - which I don't
like because I think they clutter up the boards with useless junk my
silent masses do not appreciate - then I shall post MORE ads than you."

IMHO, the most intelligent and common-sense posts by far on this subject
have come from two sources:  Ken Mitchell, and Eagle.  Honestly, Greg -
and I mean no disrespect, truly - your responses smack of an insistence on
having your own way, despite the logic and reason of the arguments
presented.  Though I presume you are completely likeable in person, you
have tended to come across as a power-happy wannabe net.cop here.

I am reminded of the phrase, "Saying it don't make it so."  Greg, you have
been fond of saying, "go back and read the entire string."  I humbly
suggest you do the same.  By my count, you are vastly overestimating the
number of silent masses who support your position.
