Petition!! From: policycomp@aol.com (PolicyComp) Date: Wed, 25 Jun 1997 00:00:00 +0000 To Whom it may Concern: This letter is a protest letter against the hourly charges which will be in affect for On-Line games starting on July19. We all choose AOL for it's services, and those services included On-Line Games. Now AOL has chosen to Charge an additional Fee for this service that was previously included in it's service contract. This is an OUTRAGE!!!! Why should I continue to subscribe to AOL for $19.95 a month when I can subscribe to a local "Mom & Pop" server for $2 to $3 a month for equal mail and internet access??? When I first sub-Scribed to AOL I did so because of the diverse services it had offered... But Now they are charging additional fees to access these services, What's Next?? an extra charge for E-Mail??? internet access??? Where will it END!?!?!?!? Service from AOL is at an all time LOW, they have instituted that annoying "45 minute warning", you can not get On-Line when you want to, and if you do there is so much lag it is impossible to get anything done! Now this extra fee!! I for one have had ENOUGH!!!!! I urge all of you to sign this letter of petition to AOL, and to get as many friends and Family as you can to do the same. It is only by this way that AOL will revert back to it's original pricing of games and services. To AOL Staff and Administration: We, the undersigned, feel that your newly adopted game fee is unjust, unwarented, and outrageous! Would you pay Rent on a house you own? Of course not but we are going to have to start to with this charge! Upon reading this letter I ask you to try to get the charges for your On-Line games dropped. Thank you for your time in reading this and I hope to see you in the game Forum some day. ***Reply instructions*** To add your name to this petition please send mail to: "PolicyComp@aol.com" as a subject use "Petition" in the body write, "Please add me to your petition" along with your screen name.
